Interesting tale about love bugs and automobiles. Guess you would be lucky then if you drive an electric car or golf cart? The road through would still have the exhaust from gas vehicles which this linked article says drawsin the love bugs.

Another plus for electric golf cars.Although when one is behind a line of gas carts these pests don't discriminate!! Lol!
