Default Appliances new homes

I've noticed that some of the new homes listed on the villages website search have washers and dryers and some don't. Also, blinds are listed in some and some not. Some are homes right next to each other and one will have washers, dryers and blinds and the next one does not. I just noticed this while searching on line. I will ask my sales rep but just wondering if anyone else has noticed this.

Which model or series R U looking at?

When you look at the floor plans scroll all the way down for what's included.

That's what I've done. Mostly looking at CYV's. I just thought it odd. The exact same model will have them in some and some not.

That is how they outfit spec homes. I don't know why but they "come as they are".

Some will have blinds and some not. Some will have fancier refrigerators. Some will come with washers and driers. In Designers, some will be enlarged and others will be regular size.

It seems to work for them.

When we bought our house in 2006, some houses had washers, dryers, and some did not. We were told that each home "designer" had funds to outfit their house. If there are some upgrades the designer felt they wanted in the home, maybe not enough left for washer and dryer.
Our house did not come with a washer or dryer, which was fine with me....we brought our own with us...it's not terribly expensive to move a washer and dryer. From listening to some of the complaints about the particular models that were in place when we bought, I'm glad we didn't have one provided.
