Default A thought just hit me

Something we are not giving proper attention to in our decision for Nov. I am not talking to those that will vote party no matter what.

Obama has love of this country and its people and he puts the needs of the poor, old, sick right up front.

Romney has love of country and people but he puts the need of the country right up front.

It stuck me that without a country you cannot help the needy, but with a financially healthy country you can then help the needy.

If this makes any sense at all, then Romney is our best hope for a full recovery.

Romney in Nov:

Not sure how Romney can rescue the country with this debt and the budget proposed by the Republicans with its emphasis on spending for the military. House GOP Budget Plan Increases Military Spending And Cuts Social Services Defense budget debate touches on Afghanistan, NASCAR | Reuters House GOP Bill Cuts Medicaid To Protect Military Spending - Kaiser Health News

Have you looked at the Democratic one ? OH...that right, they have none !

Amazing how you can criticize ANY budget when the Dem controlled senate has voted 99-0 to defeat the Presidents budget 3 years in a row and has not met their constitutional duty to even have a budget for our country.

Also, if you have any sense or history, or any sense period....even when we had a responsible senate that had a budget there was always debate on one section or another.

THE ONLY BUDGETS even being discussed did NOT come from Democrats...I mean LITERALLY THE ONLY BUDGETS

how about giving a little credit to any attempt to have a budget.

Since everybody involved is in grid lock protecting their turf, constituency, donors, special interest groups, lobbyists and most importantly self position preservation.....how about a simple start....... A budget that assumes there will be no more spent in the proposed fiscal budget as the last years fiscal actuals?

What no ability to increase spending? Yes. Learn to live as we all must do within what we are allowed.....no open end BS as there has been the last three years.

This approach would imply at least a cessation of debt growth. Of course that assumes the tax base does not go below that of the last years fiscal actual receipts.....which given the current trend of freeloading.....may be a bad assumption.

What??????? You need to have a better explanation than that. Niether party has the interest of the Country at heart, they are only in it for what THEY (CONGRESS) can get out of it. Time for a complete change, top to bottom. Get their attention and the next election, change again, top to bottom. Then we should be good for a couple more hundred years before it goes in the crapper again.

When they'll do ANYTHING to get some votes, it means absolutely nothing when they "put the poor, old and sick right up front".

Default I've been hit by a thought

I have been hit by a thought and it hurt.

I am a truthier and as such the only presidential candidate telling the truth is (drum roll) Mitt Romney

You too can become a truthier free yourself from the burden of continually making excuses for a presidential candidate's lie. Join the Romney campaign
it is so much more rewarding being a "truthier". The devil need not apply.
