is there any place near TV where you can get rid of used motor oil?

Take it to Tire Choice by WalMart. They will take it for you.

You can check with Advance Auto on 441/27 to see if they take it to recycle. In VA they did, don't know about here.

I think anyone that sells it is required to take it back to recycle.

The Lady Lake (Lake County) Recycle Center is located off Rolling Acres road. Take Rolling Acres Road South at 441 (cross 466) it's on your left. They are open Tuesday and Saturday 7:30 to 5.

Let me jump in here and ask if anyone knows where to bring old paint cans and varnish cans?

If the paint and varnish is gone and the residue is dry, you can put it in the regular trash.

paint, solvents, oils/etc:

The Lady Lake (Lake County) Recycle Center is located off Rolling Acres road.

They sometimes ask where you live and will advise you the facility is for Lake County residents only. They will let you leave what you brought.

I was asked once in several visits.
