Smile Johnny Rockets: Free coffee

Johnny Rockets is offering free coffee every morning. I think it's from 8 to 10am. And you don't have to buy anything! Yahoo! Hey, let's get a TOTV group together (let's say about 50 people) and go there for the free coffee after we have breakfast at home. Here's the plan: We drink the free coffee and leave. That's it. Are you with me?

P.S. Just to show we are not cheap, we'll leave a 20% tip! Let's see, what's 20% of nothing?

When Johnny Rockets first opened, the food was good and so was the service. It has changed "hands" I think more than once. Sounds like they are trying again to get some business----I assume under new management and maybe ownership. I'll give them another try! My bet is the FREE coffee won't last long.

There was a nice article in the Daily Sun recently covering the new ownership. As a customer I feel they have done a great job in turning around the restaurant.
The free coffee is a promo like all promo's......would anyone think it would last forever?

We tried breakfast there and the results were food was good, but kitchen lost our order and we had to after 1/2 hour ask for it. We chalked this up to new experience for them and may try it again. Eating on the patio and people watching was great. Other than Johnny Rockets if you want eggs and potatoes, or bacon etc. then in LSL there is only 2-Jays. 2-Jays has good food and prices, but we don't like that hurry up, eat, and get out of there atmosphere. Actually we prefer the quiet, calm, relaxed atmosphere of Sunrise Café in Southern Trace.

It is a nice gesture on Johnny Rockets part and hopefully brings in more customers. We had breakfast there yesterday and the food was good but very limited menu. They need some healthy selections like fruit or whole grain english muffins or sliced tomatoes. Everything comes with home-fried potatoes.

I agree. A couple of years ago I passed by and asked for a sample menu. When I saw what was on it I never ate there. And, by the way, I don't plan on going for the free coffee as I am not a coffee drinker.

Pretty shrewd....but I like it.

We agree! We like Sunrise very much. Bob Evans is still our all time favorite, though.

Athens in Spanish Springs is great too. With their breakfast special of 3.99 you get free coffee.

I hear the breakfast at Bonifay is good too. I love coffee. I read just recently that large studies about coffee consumption seem to support it is good for you. BUT I would drink it anyway. The best part of wakin' up is Folgers in your cup.

We had a great breakfast at SonRise too.

I am surprised we haven't yet had a thread on smoking.

I don't smoke but I don't preach about it either.

No doubt you will get takers that behave the same way you do.
