Anyone who makes their pizza, from scratch, at home understands how really large that ripoff is. The situation your friend was placed in is just wrong and a smart businessman would have verified that your friend understood what he/she was buying. I recognze there is another argument but this incident will have long term adverse affects for this restaurant.

I have a menu in front of me. It says the highest priced regular pie is $15.99 plus each additional topping is $2.99. So he'd have to order 8 additional toppings to come to $42.00 with the tax. Hope he had someone help him carry the pie home.Something doesn't sound right. Even if he ordered a Specialty Pie the highest priced is $21.99.

What is the size of the Specialty Pie that costs $21.99? Sounds awful expensive for a pizza.

Glad I like just pepperoni and cheese!!!

We've got Flippers on the list to try next time we're in TV.

Cool

Hmmmm..... In another thread, the price has escalated to $47.00 and antipasto has been added to the mix. Maybe there were a couple pitchers of beer and a couple salads that were forgotten about too.

Just doesn't pass the "smell" test for me

I paid $42 for a pizza in Mill Valley Ca., once, But that was Mill Valley Ca., and it was a specialty pizza. I would not pay $42 for a pizza in Spanish Springs no matter what it had on it and I wouldn't pay $21.99 either. Actually Domino's is fine with me.
