Default Golf Tee Times in Winter..

My wife and I are coming back to tv on Sunday for the entire week. We live in the Atlanta area and will more than likely buy a house or lot this next week. I have never seen her so excited and she does not even play golf. I have one question. How difficult is it to get T Times in the Winter months? Is the Premimum level worth buying for golf?

Priority membership is for championship courses only. If you play championship courses more than twice per week it is probably woth the cost. Two times or less per week makes the investment hard to justify.

The executive courses are not part of the priorty membership package.

My suggestion on how to play often in the winter is to attend the Good Golf School and learn the tee time reservation system and how it works. I play once a week on the championship and three times a week on the executive courses and didn't get a tee time about four times last winter. Just learn to request a wide time window and be willing to play on any available course and you should have no problem.

All very good advice! My foursome gave up our priority memberships, last fall, after 5 years and we played the championship courses twice a week and were bumped once this past winter.

Thanks guy's. We are looking forward to being a member of TV. Is it possible to play one of the courses next week as a guest with my sales person say (late in the day) as we will be very busy looking at resales and new homes?

You will probably be able to play any championship course after 5:00 pm for 8 dollars. Call the proshop the day you want to play and ask for open tee times after 5:00

as long as you follow the guidelines and provide a reasonable time slot spread and alternate courses you will experience what we have for the past 8 years...no problem getting t times what so ever. Never ever missed getting out to play on the days we select.

Think the twilight (5 - 6pm) rate of 6.00 for unlimited golf is for "residents only" If you're here on lifestyle visit, your sales rep should be able to arrange t-times for you.

The exception being the Executive Courses trail fee IS part of the priority package.

The only time this past winter that we did not get a requested t-time (executive courses) was when we included guests. During the peak season, guests tend to get you bumped.

Default lifestyle visit?

Last winter I was paired with a visitor who was here on a lifestyle visit...When I checked in at the starter I was informed this person was here under those circumstances...Twice during the round the ambassador stopped to see how he was doing, each time addressing him by name..I can only assume that as part of this pkg there are certain actions taken to make sure this visitor is treated very well, to include an enjoyable time on the course..So I guess someone was making these arrangements for him and that is probably taking place behind the scenes...He loved it...
