Default A Good Reason To Make Sure Your Home Wi-Fi is Secure

In Evansville, Ind., young Stephanie Milan was lounging on the sofa watching the Food Channel when a Swat Team burst into her house tossing a flash-bang stun grenade into the living room.

Threats seemed to have come from the Milan household against the police and their families through the Milan family's open Wi-Fi connection.

A prankster evidently tapped into the non-secured connection to post these threats.

Apparently these things aren't that uncommon.

Make sure you Wi-Fi connected is locked and secure.

This has been going on over a year, even a secure site did not stop some of these crimes against people. Sometimes it was someone they knew and were just angry at them. Bill jump in on this one

I read in the article that this is part of some sick prank called "swatting". It refers to someone getting a SWAT team to raid your house. They can do it by not only using your Wi-Fi, but also by using 911. I hope that the first person they catch doing this prank gets about 10 years in jail.....that should cut way back on others thinking it's funny!
