Default ATT U-Verse TV

Is anyone using AT&T's U-Verse TV? Feedback would be appreciated. We have Comcast and would love to no longer have to deal with them. Our cell phones are with AT&T currently. Thanks!

I am not sure if uverse is available at this time. I live in 32162 zip in Tall Trees and when I went online to check availability it was not yet offered.

My experience with uverse in NC is excellent and the moment I find it available in my area, I will change.

Replaced Comcast in Connecticut with UVerse.

After a few initial bumps service is great. More channels, faster internet, less cost!

Highly recommend it. Hope UVerse comes to T.V.

Default We've wondered the same thing

We will be moving to TV later this year and have been wondering the same thing. We've had it for several years and would like to continue to bundle it with our phones and internet. Hopefully, we'll hear that it may be in the works soon in TV.

I've been online and put in our zip code (32162) and it showed the channels available, so I would think it would work. If you have questions, do you go to the local AT&T store?

I called the AT&T store in TV, and NO, u-verse is not available. Wish it was. I have it now in Wisconsin and love it.

Default We have U-verse in MO

We are very pleased with U-verse here, and are disappointed it's not offered in TV. Besides, we won't be able to watch everything on our DVR before moving in a few weeks, and will lose it all.

We're going to go with Bright House and are hoping for a positive experience. Is there a way to "lobby" AT&T to bring U-verse to TV?

Our cell phones are AT&T. We checked the reception at our homesite when we were there for the design meeting in May, and it seemed acceptable.

U-Verse is a great system, far better than cable. It will probably never come to TV since it requires large refrigerator-sized distribution boxes (VRAD boxes) installed on telephone poles every 30,000 feet or so. I doubt if you would appreciate how this would look in your neighborhood.

Also had ATT U-Verse on the Fla. east coast before moving permanently to The Villages and would love to have transferred service. Never had any problems. But as all previous posters have mentioned, I also found out that ATT U-Verse service is not available in this area. A real bummer!!

Thanks for the replies, everyone. Since I don't want a dish and I'm not in Brighthouse's area, I guess I'm stuck with the dreaded Comcast.

Interesting. I live in a community where all utilities are underground so I don't see any refrigerator sized boxes anyplace on telephone poles and we have U-Verse.

Unfortunately, AT&T has been slow to respond to the needs of TV. Most of us who have AT&T Cell phones have been trying to get them to put up more towers in order to get decent cell phone reception in TV. Two new towers are suppose to be in place by September 2012. Promise, Promise, Promise!
