At least Romney has the cajones to speak plainly to an expected hostile audience and take the bad feedback as well as some positive feedback.

I'd like to see the current occupant of the people's house speak before a Tea Party Convention.......................yeah, that's gonna happen.

I might add, as opposed to the current resident of the WH, the message was the same and not altered to fit !

Can't wait to see if Mitt Romney can increase his support from African-Americans to maybe 2% from 1%. George W Bush received 10% of the African-American vote, while John McCain received 5%, but Romney hasn't been able to get passed that 1% range.

Default getting smart

it might surprise you to learn that many black americans are finally getting smart and realizing their race has actually been held down by old time democrats and that most of the laws raising them up have come from republicans...martin luther king's niece is a powerful speaker for republican and conservative causes. the speaker at the villages tea party monday night was an author who calls for more blacks to become Frederick Douglas republicans. there is a documentary film called Runaway Slave which you can probably find something about on google or youtube... blacks are becoming more educated through republican led programs and are beginning to see the light that they won't be used as an ignorant power base for any party.

the racial sting is beginning to show. Funny how the Obama supporters need people to be in specific gender, race or religious boxes to offer a statement about something. Very consistent with Obama's quest for dividing and separating classes in America.

The need to see an R or a D or a black person or white person or Catholic or Jew or oriental or hispanic to make a statement is pretty limited thinking.

How about one time some of you class mongers looking at people as though you were in church. Where none of that class, separatist stuff is supposed to matter. Or is that only limited to the time one spends in a pew?

ChaCha-
What percent of the Black vote do you predict that Mitt will receive this year? My prediction is about 8%.

""Today, Romney for President released a new television advertisement titled 'No Evidence,'" the Romney campaign will say in a press release, when the ad is formally released later this morning. "Just like he did against Hillary Clinton, President Obama now continues to spread dishonest attacks about Mitt Romney to distract from his failed record. Even though fact check after fact check have found his claims to be false, he continues to mislead the American people. It is no wonder why our country has lost confidence in his leadership."

New Romney Ad Calls Obama Liar, Dishonest | The Weekly Standard

A soundbite for sure but now hopefully we begin to point out the lies.

And this, in my opinion, the highlight of the speech...

"do these five things – open up energy, expand trade, cut the growth of government, focus on better educating tomorrow’s workers today, and restore economic freedom – and jobs will come back to America, and wages will rise again. The President will say he will do those things, but he will not, he cannot, and his record of the last four years proves it."
