Default Fitness Alternatives?

Anybody aware of any alternatives to the Regional Rec Centers Fitness Centers? I am aware of the Athletic Club down at Spanish Springs. I'm not "knocking" our Rec Centers or the great village staff, although they get overcrowded during certain months and are not exactly cheap. They are certainly convenient. We have belonged to a "Y" in the past that had an indoor pool, therapy pool, Lap pool, zumba, yoga, ball weight classes, personal trainers, etc. in addition to all the fitness machines with individual televisions---about the same price, if not cheaper, per month. I suppose we were spoiled! In some retirement communities, the fitness centers are nice and part of your amenity fees. I have no idea if our Fitness Centers are a "business" or just a break even situation similar to a non-profit. Anybody know?

Default

They are set up as an enterprise system, fee supported, because of liability and high maintenance. Separate from the rec centers.
