Default Little dog for adoption!

UPDATE: Bambi was just taken to her foster home tonight so she is no longer staying in the cage Of course, it is just a foster home and she IS AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION so please do contact me if you would like to meet her...no pressure to adopt her, we know it has to be mutual match.

This is Bambi! She is about 12 years old and her owner had to give her up when she moved into a nursing home. Bambi thinks she is the most adorable doggie in the world and we aren't about to tell her any different She loves being held and really wants to be someone's lap dog. She is spunky, spirited and lovable in her own little way. She is staying at the vet's office where I work and I would be happy to show her to you if you want to meet her! She is sure to make you the talk of The Villages when you take her out for a walk!

Poor little Bambi. What breed is she Karennn? At first I thought Chinese Crested but that profile almost looks like a Westie to me. I hope someone can come to her rescue. Unfortunately it can't be me but I'm sure she'll be a wonderful friend for someone in The Villages.

I think that she may be a mix of chinese crested and yorkie. She has the cutest little furry yorkie head...then she goes naked

That is such a sad story. Best of luck to Bambi.

Bambi sure is a cute little dog. It must be heart breaking to need to go into a nursing home and leave an older pet behind.

Here's the Magic of Believing that her new person comes forward soon. Wouldn't it be wonderful if her new person also took her to see her previous mom at the assisted living place? That would be a heartwarming reunion!

Please tell us more about this cute little Bambi.
Does she have any serious medical issues?
Is she on any long-term medication?
Is she a barker?
Is she afraid of big dogs?
Does she shed?
Is she housebroken?
How long can you keep her? (Like, say, till mid October?)

CFrance, that sounds promising - that you are interested! I'm still doing the Magic of Believing that it will work out. And, if you do take her, Bless You!

Does she have any serious medical issues? We did remove a small cyst, other than that, I don't think she has any issues Is she on any long-term medication? NoIs she a barker? Only when she gets lonely in her cage, stops as soon as she is out. Is she afraid of big dogs? No, but she is very tiny, so big dogs would have to be careful around her. Does she shed? NoIs she housebroken? YesHow long can you keep her? We are hoping that we can find a forever home for her very soon because she lonely

I wish I were in TV and could foster Bambi until she finds a permanent home. Poor little thing, I hate hearing that she is lonely. Unfortunately I'm 26 hours away right now. I have my fingers crossed that CFrance will take Bambi. I know from e-mails that CFrance is a caring and wonderful person.
