Default Lesson 3

Just had my third lesson yesterday...yaay..practiced chipping, putting and sand wedges?...and didn't get a single blister. I'm thinking I'm gonna like this stuff and I promise, as a new golfer, when I finally get to TV and out on a course I won't hold anyone up (see..I'm learning etiquette)

Go get 'em Trish. As long as you keep your position on the course, no one will care if you're a beginner. In fact, most will have the attitude that I have, which is "Welcome to the best game in the world." Hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Hit 'em long and straight. If not long, at least straight <g>.

Gook Luck Trish!! My wife and I decided that this was the year we take up golf. Started out with lessons at Tree Tops and so far we have about 6-8 rounds of golf that we completed. We are having lots of fun and it is very enjoyable to be out there. Lots of laughs with some of the silly shots, but we are saying that we will get better. Good luck and enjoy!!!

Welcome to one of the greatest games around. Wish I started much younger!
Started around 56 and now know why GOLF is a four letter word!!!!

Lots of fun, out in the air, and frustrating - all in one.

Enjoy!

Kudos on finishing your 3rd lesson, we just finished our 3rd lesson down here at Villages Golf Academy last week. Unfortunately my first set of lessons came about 55 years after taking up the game...bad habits are about unbreakable.

Anyway, etiquette is a huge part of the game and learning that gets you off on the right foot, making the game a lot more enjoyable for all.

If you keep up with pace of play and try to always leave the course in better shape than you found it...you'll be a fine playing partner round here.
