Smile New nurse coming to town

Hi! Husband and I will be moving here in early summer 2013 (so excited) - I am a RN and wondering about work opportunities. Have applied for license and have taken the medical errors class.....and would like to hear from nurses in TV.

My wife is working full time as RN; Full time/benefit eligible jobs are difficult to come by. Local hospitals all tend to require 12hr shifts; clinics inside the bubble use PA's & LPN's but not RN.
You may have better luck if you don't need bene's, could do prn work

When we were visiting we drove in our golf cart by the hospital near Spanish Springs town square. What other hospitals are there? Thanks for the info!

if you don't mind the drive you can get better jobs outside the villages for better pay. it seems like the medical profession has lots of residents in TV

Hi Dellie. Welcome to TV and I'm sure you will love it. My wife is an RN in the ER at TV's hospital. She is not on TOTV, but if you PM me she would be glad to answer any questions you might have about working at the hospital here.
