Default Re-paving of Buena Vista - Marion County

Does anyone know who is paying for the repaving of Buena Vista (to 42) in the Marion County portion of TV? Sumter and Lake Counties pay for their repaving but I was under the impression that Marion County does not pay for any road work within a retirement community. Does it come out of District 4 funds or are we to expect a special assessment? Hopefully, I am wrong.

Suggest you check with CDD Rep for Marion, which I believe is #4. Don't worry about it until you have the facts.

The main road thru (Buena Vista) is considered a county road and is paid for by Marion Co. I believe it is the only road that they maintain.

Marion County residents do. It is in out property taxes. It is not part of the CDD maintenance tax if that is what you are asking. It is in the overall Marion county taxes. Same as in your other state. Nothing is free.

We are moving in to our new home in Forsyth Villas on September 13. Will any road construction impede our access to the house? We probably would come down Rt 42 onto Buena Vista and then onto Forsyth St, if I'm not mistaken. Can traffic get through? Should we plan another route? We need to tell the movers if that is the case. Thanks!

You should not have a problem. Even if there is a detour it will only be a little out of the way. The movers will figure it out.

They are done. All they did was from the Marion county line to a little ways past the Springdale-Piedmont circle.

What's the difference. They did a nice job and the road is smooth as silk.

Checked with CDD4 and you are correct. Yes, I was afraid it would be coming out of our CDD money. So glad it isn't.

Well, those in CDD4 anyway. No one else would have been affected.
