Default Olive Garden server request

My daughter, Jessica, has been working at Olive Garden for two months now. It turns out for her to get more shifts, she needs 1. good comments on cards passed out by the servers; 2. good reviews online; and 3. (most important) customers specifically requesting her. So, if you don't happen to have a favorite server at Olive Garden, please request Jessica when you eat there. (If they say there is a wait or whatever, of course, please don't say you'll wait -- I'd hate to think someone would inconvenience themselves for this.) And, of course, please tip her well. ;-)

Thank you all so much!

Wished we had known about Jessica before our dinner tonight. We had the slowest service. Our waitress kept disappearing. This is the first time this has ever happened at this Olive Garden.

Hope she gets it all. I've read today that Darden Restaurants that owns them and others like Red Lobster, I think, have been taking advantage of employees and there is now a large lawsuit against the company.

What is Jessica's last name initial? There could be more than one Jessica, and we would want to get the right one.

For now, she's the only Jessica, but just to be safe -- Jessica P.

As to the lawsuit, this class action lawsuit will ultimately go after all the chain restaurants. Sadly, having the servers clock out and then do their clean up, etc. is standard practice. So is not being allowed to clock in before the first customer. Actually, Darden is better than most of the restaurants -- they pay a little more hourly than the minimum required and, at least at this restaurant, the bartenders and servers get paid from their official start time as opposed to when a customer shows up.

And, of course, thank you all for your support. I know she'll appreciate it.

Wife and I will make it a point to make it to Olive Garden soon. What's not to like about Olive Garden especially when you get good service?

I guess we all should be sure when we get good service to let management know.
