Having a bad day? Ronald Wayne received a 10% stake in Apple but relinquished his stock for $800 less than two weeks later, on April 13, 1976. Had he kept his 10% stock it would have been worth over 58 billion dollars as of August 2012. Mr. Wayne is now at a bar sharing a glass of Boone's Farm Apple Wine with Jorge Arantes the Spanish journalist who was married to JK Rowling and dumped her while she was writing a wee story about this kid, Harry Potter.

And I feel bad for buying 200 shares sometime in 1984 (I think) for 3 bucks a share and selling off in early 1985 for around $2.50 a share. For I was certain Apple was going nowhere.

Still have the first computer I ever bought, an Apple IIe - it sits next to my MacIntosh.
