Default Clint Eastwood provides an aging senior classic:

The quote below is from his interview this morning:

As for the criticism Eastwood has received since the speech, he said: "There is something about the aging process that makes you give a crap less."

One cannot do anything but smile knowing how accurate his statement is and states what many of us think/do (whether we admit it or not).

He "made my day" with this one.

He is the Director of some of my favorite movies as well as an actor in many of them. Unforgiven for instance.

Also really liked Mystic River. http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/mystic_river/

Found Blood Work very interesting.

Unforgiven is the best western ever made. -IMHO

Will have to see "Trouble with Curves", as Clint is one of my actors/directors.

I think that Clint is one of the greatest and Unforgiven is a great western but, my favorite western movie is "Red River" with John Wayne.

Love Clint, I have Encores western channel and I record all episodes of "Rawhide" as well as all western movies. I have at least fifty movies on each DVR. I may be a little corny but, I really like all the old Audie Murphy westerns. I like watching a true American hero in action, even if he is not the best actor in the world but, the most decorated Medal of honor winner deserved to be a movie star.

I looked at the "Rotten Tomato" best 100 list and being a western movie nut, believe that some of the movies on that list really do not belong there. I can not believe that Red River is not on that list. I checked the site further and found that Red River recieved a 100% rating. Whew, now I feel better.

Everything he said was not rambling, but intentional. Don't be confused by the old guy act!
I thought he was delightful!

Probably a bad strategic move for the event; but, in terms of entertainment and art - priceless.

My all time favorite didn't show up in movies but is shown on TV. "Lonesome Dove" with Robert Duval and Tommy Lee Jones. I have the DVD and watch it about once every other month.
