Default wild boars

Does anyone know why there were two baby wild boars on the corner of Canal and Bonita?

Could not believe my eyes!! has anyone seen them around? I wanted to stop to take a pic but there was too many carts around and I couldn't pull over.

I know there are wild boars in the high brush on Hibiscus golf course in Cane Garden.
Were they cute?

They're not wild boars. I talked to a man yesterday who saw them on the golf course. He thinks they are probably pot-bellied pigs (pets) that decided to take a walk. They came over to his cart begging for food. Two animal control officers were trying to catch them.

We've just seen them this morning (though I thought they were baby pigs) - a white one and a grey one on a lawn on the right hand side just before you get to Pendleton on the way to Bogart & Bacall. They stopped to cross Canal Street and then changed their minds and went back onto the lawn. I just called Villages 24 hour dispatch number and they said they would send someone out. (This is Monday 24th Sept).

My message above said 11.21 but this is actually 7.20 am! They looked very cute - no tusks or anything and didn't look fierce at all! Hope they don't hurt them!

No they didn't look like wild boars at all - they looked like little fat baby pigs - they were lovely! Nothing to worry about with them. I just wish I had taken my camera out when dog walking this morning.

I saw these same two pigs on the corner of Bonita and Canal Sunday at approx 4:30 pm. They looked like the 30 lb pigs described in the op. I was hoping the wild boar infestation hadn't reached the Villages but they were quite small and I have no idea what species they are.

Boy Howdy, Get those pigs on a leash and follow them with a plastic bag.

We ain't havin' no pig poop in our public areas.

I have spoken.

Bill? Get over here with the popcorn. Oh rats, you can't, you are here on campus and your computering is sporadic.
