Smile Favorite Libraries

I will be moving to The Village of Caroline next year. Currently I live in NYC and love to spend my free time reading and browsing in the library. What is your favorite library in or near TV? Why?

We have the Sumter Co. Library on 466a and Powell Rd. We also have a small branch library on Belvedere and 466. Also, if you live in Lady Lake they have a nice library. If you do not, they will let you use their library for a fee.

The Lake County Library System (includes Lady Lake) is free for Marion and Lake County residents. Costs $20 per household per six months if you live in Sumter County. You can get a number of cards for one household for the $20 per month fee.

Both Lady Lake and the Sumter County Library on Pinellas are nice libraries.

Nothing comparable to the NYC Library System though anywhere near here.

Sarasota has a beautiful downtown library as does Clearwater.

Don't forget you won't be living in NYC. The libruaries mentioned above are nice small neigthborhod libruaries. I use the Belevadere one all the time. However, they don't compare them with the NYC libruary and you won't be spending hours browzing in them. They just aren't that big or grand.

Thanks all! I was not looking for a big city library, just something small and charming where I can browse, read current newspapers and magazines etc. It looks like I will have some good choices!

The new library on 466A is just delightful. It has reading areas indoors and outdoors

The Library on 466A sounds wonderful. Does anyone know what it is called?
