I was told, if the hose bib is on the wall of the house, it's potable. To make sure, I turned the main valve, in the garage off, then checked if the water was off to the out side bibs. It was. Just a check.

Yes, it is potable water. So extra watering of flower beds and washing the car is going to spin the meter. Also. if and when you have your house washed, another spin the meter.

Thanks, I wanted to add an outdoor shower on the lanai and fill the spa with good clean filtered water off the main.

Be careful! The issue of outside potable water depends on which side of 466A you live. We were told that the outside water by us is not potable...check with Warranty or your builder.

I live in Sanibel. House done in Jan. The outside bibs are potable. They just did the "rough" plumbing on the house next door to us and the outside bibs are potable.

the hose bibs? In all villages the hose bibs are potable water. Don't drink the water out of your irrigation sprinkler heads.

If people can drive a car on the golf cart bridge over 441..........they can drink water from a sprinkler head.
