Default Quilting meetings

I will be in TV for a little over two months this winter and would love to attend weekly quilting meetings. Could anyone tell me if this is possible and how I would go about it? Thanks. Hoping to arrive in time for TV Quilt Show.

Here's a link to all the clubs in the Villages with the days, times and locations.
Looks like there are about a dozen quilting clubs, so you should have no trouble at all.

I dunno! There are 13 chapters and the last I heard they all were at capacity! Maybe someone that knows of a vacancy will respond and let you know if their chapter has an opening.

Allamanda hasn't closed membership. You can attend one meeting without joining. Dues are $15/yr. I think you could probably visit the others all one time, so could probably just go to a different one every week if you wanted. Then, if you decided to move here or rent regularly, you might know which one you want to join.

Even if all are filled up, they likely have waiting lists and wouldn't take that long to get in. Plus, if they are all this full, maybe another will be opening soon.

Keep an eye on qgotv.org

Thanks everyone,
Didn't know if you had to be a full time resident to join.
I think I will contact some of the clubs before I go to TV, see what I can line up.

I was told you have to have a resident pass but not sure. On the guild website, there are contacts and they have been great at answering questions. Several groups are open, andI havebeenoff told there should be a new group forming for the Brandenton Community Center.
