Has anyone ever compared the regular (non-sale) prices among the three liquor stores in TV: ABC Liquor, Kindred Spirits, and Sweet Bay?. I excluded Sam's Club because I'm sure they're competitive with the others if you don't mind the gallon sizes.

i would say Kindred Spirits except if there are coupons from Sweet Bay or from Publix. All in all Kindred Spirits are very competitive

I don't know about that. I asked Kindred Spirits about the discount on a case of wine and they said None. I never heard of that before.

The wine I buy alot, (more than alot) is always quite a bit higher in Publix than Kindred Spirits right next door. Don't forget to add to the list Wal Mart liquors next door to the store.

ABC is cheaper on everything...by a dollar a bottle or more...plus discounts on bulk purchases.

I bring a lot down from Wi. & save $3-$5 on a 1.75 bottle, PLUS even more with rebates. Don't see too many liquor rebates in Fl. |

I have a big problem with the liquor tax here in Florida. I can buy a 5 liter box of wine in Michigan for the same price as a 3 liter here. I always stock up when in Michigan and transport it down. I'm not a wine expert and boxed wine is good enough for me, so please no comments from those of you who prefer aged and/or specialty wines.

Definitely ABC. They also have a frequent buyers card where you earn points which are eligible for discounts. They are quite knowledgeable as well and have weekly specials!

I go to Sams Club Liquor for some items and ABC for the rest

A worker in Kindred Spirits told me ABC is less expensive.

![]() And for Paperboy & Brightspot... It's probably not a good idea telling the world that you're smuggling liquor across state lines to avoid the taxes. When we lived in Delaware everybody drove to Maryland to buy liquor, and the Delaware police waited for us at the border. Same thing happens at the Utah/Wyoming border & the Utah/Nevada border. I'm just saying... We don't want to have to send Gracie to bail you out of jail. ![]()

Same thing at the New Hampshire-Maine border where I go every summer. Big police presence but I think they're just looking for minors, they don't bother us old geezers.

I went to the Sam's Club liquor store. They seemed to have good prices, but a limited selection. IIRC, Johnny Walker Black was $53 for a 1.75 liter bottle. They don't advertise this, but the liquor store (not inside Sam's Club proper) doesn't require a membership card.
