Does anyone know where Sylvia Wallace has gone?? She was the P.A. at Lady Lake Family Practice on 466. All the information I could get was "she's still in The Villages but 'don't' know where she's going!!!" THAT from the office person. I suppose when hired she (Sylvia) signed some kind of clause and can't break it.

This makes me sad as she was excellant to work with and will be missed. We have Preferred Care Partners so this too limits where we can go BUT I hope "if" I find her...that I can follow her!!!

I, too, go to Sylvia and I want to go wherever she practices. She was WONDERFUL!!!!!!! I am doing my darndest to find out where she is and will post it here if I learn her location. Please all of you do the same.

My husband, I and my best friend all go to her. We were going to make an appt tomorrow w/ her.

I googled her, it says she is in Leesberg (if she is a nurse practioner).

Cannot verify this, but heard she will be at the new Colony Medical Center in January.

Consider it verified. Lady Lake Medical has a sign on their counter that indicates that she is going there plus she has told us personally that she will be.

As of this time you won't be able to find out much since she will not be starting there until after the first of the year, but I was told by USF Health in the Villages Program Director that when most, if not all, health care providers start at the Colony facility, their former patients will be able to transfer to them.

For now we'll just have to wait until more information to be released.

BTW, Her replacement at Lady Lake Medical is Glen McKean PA. Sylvia said we would like him and I did when I saw him for my appointment. If it were not for the convenience of the Colony Plaza location, I'd probably consider staying with him. But I can't ignore that I like Sylvia, coupled with the fact that I'm close enough to Colony that I could even ride my moblilty scooter to and from appointments if and when I choose to do so.

I could have written this post!! All that's said on here is true! Watch The Daily Sun closely as "soon" there will be something about the new clinic and how we can follow our practioners. I will be happy "if" that works out that way for sure!! Golf-cart accessible too!!!

Thanks for the info everyone. Unfortunately I need to get in within a few weeks so will have to go with this 'Glenn' guy. Glad they are now telling people where Sylvia is at....as of Fri AM they wouldn't tell me where she was at or where she was going!

Folks at the clinic may not tell you...but word of mouth is getting this message out. Lady Lake Family Medicine lost a great person and now...may lose some patients too but Glenn will build it up again, I'm sure.

I was there for my appointment on Wednesday Nov. 7th and a notice indicating where Sylvia was going was conspiciously displayed there on an 8.5 x 11 upright sign. You must have not noticed it or they have since removed it?
