I noticed that someone is doing some work in the old El Santiago Club building. Does anyone know if they plan to open another restaurant?? Sure was nice when we could golf over there & then stop for a bite to eat and have a drink!

Drove by there a couple days ago and nothing has chaged. Still gutted. Will drive by again today to make sure and report back.

Checked on The Santiago Club, 11/08 about 3 PM, and nothing has been done. Still looks the same as it did since it was gutted, I think, around last winter. There was a "For Lease" sign in the window with a number to call 5-6 months ago and that is gone now, but otherwise... it is just a shell.

Article in Daily Sun today that Amenties Council will be seeking input into use of Santiago, Tierra del Sol, and Chula Vista.
