I highly recommend Dr. Duke in Ocala. Univ. of Florida Medical School. Also took his internship, residency, and fellowship there. He is also on faculty there. He has done over 6000 knee and hip replacements. Both he and his staff are excellent. I had a total knee replacement on august 18th, and in 6 weeks I was back to golf, karate, dancing, etc.

Folks from all over the country go to Dr. Berger at Midwest Orthopedics at Rush in Chicago. It's outpatient surgery. They only take BCBS. I know you requested local...but, Berger is the rock star doc.
