Default Best medicare plan for Fl resident who travels

Hoping for some help. We travel back and forth to Ct. from TV and I am looking for a Medicare Advantage plan or supplement or Medigap policy that is valid in both states. Any suggestions? By the way USAA has Medicare supplement policys at very good rates

Think we heard that FREEDOM supplemental was good for traveling...going back and forth. That being said Preferred Care Partners, if you're a FL resident is good too but you have to go to Urgent Care up north or anywhere outside of FL. THat happened in our case and it worked fine!!!

United Healthcare through AARP is recognized nationwide. We have their supplement plan F, and have been very pleased.

Blue Cross has a PPO Advantage plan that covers about 33 states. I just switched from Preferred Care Partners to the Blue Cross Plan.

United HealthCare in CT has that option. You have to call them a few days before you leave, to activate the travelling feature.
