Default What happened today in TV.....

Pictures are provided for those of you not here yet.

There was an auto show at Lake Sumter Landing. Lots of cars, lots of people. (Pics 1, 2) The sun is shining, the weather is great. There also was a display of classic cars in SweetBay's parking lot. Didn't get a chance to snap a picture, but people seemed to be enjoying themselves.

There was the Farmer's Market in Brownwood. (Pic 3). As we walked around, we noticed the manhole cover....and the door handle on one of the shops. Pretty neat. Not sure exactly what kind of pistol it is, but damnation, you need a long holster...

Yes, wonderful day today in the Villages. Went to the new car show then a nice dinner at Outback, then down to Brownwood to listen to one of my favorite bands, Street Talk.

The best 64th birthday I ever had!

Pooh, I believe it’s a Remington New Model 1858. However, similar models were produced up through 1875. The extended barrel length is an oddity though. Probably is a custom built one due to the non-standard brass. In fact this may have been a customized replica built by the Uberti company that specializes in old west reproductions.

I'll have to have a peak at the engraving when I get down there for a look around.
