Four Villagers played in the North Central Florida Senior Amateur Golf Tour National Championship in Pinehurst, NC, last week.
They were Tom Vail, Ted Kowalczyk, Barry Plesser and Jim Castello. The competition was held at Seven Lakes Country Club and Pine Needles Golf Club.
The golfers competed in tournaments held in the Villages area during the year and played well enough to qualify for an invitation to the Championship.
There were 300 golfers from all over the country who competed in the four flights.
