The November calendar on my fridge says the tree lighting at LSL is on Thursday, November 29th & "Impulse" is the band. The new calendar is for December...

Oh Thank you UU....those kinds of posts...i.e.;

"WHAT???...the developer is no longer"....whatever it is...send me right up the wall.

MOST of the time if something has been stopped it isn't because of the reasons that the "upset" people state. Like 'those greedy Morses'....etc.etc.etc.

I don't work for them Larry. I don't know them. I just think they do one heck of a job making things nice for all of us.

And I am a person that thinks if someone is successful running a business that is making money, it is not an awful thing. I would think it strange that people would go into business to lose money. The government does that just fine.

What the heck does government spending have to do with the Christmas tree lighting in Lake Sumter Landing? I'm sure Gary Morse could care less about the Christmas tree lighting, since he has already sailed off to his next project in Barbados.

Why do posters have to badmouth the Morse family? They created this wonderful place we live in and they take darned good care of it to make sure it stays beautiful and enjoyable for all of us.

I don't see one word bad mouthing the Morses' in this thread. Someone was simply commenting on the Christmas tree lighting ceremonies at Lake Sumter Landing.

Please correct me if I'm wrong but Gary Morse is retired so sailing off to anywhere has nothing to do with TV. Mark Morse is now The Man......as well as his two lovely sisters.

I think it is fair to say that the comment was made to point out the mans success and in doing so selected the largest running defecit and money loser in the history of the world for comparison.

I also suggest to you that Mr Morse cares a lot about the Christmas tree lighting....of course I know that as sure as you know he does not and his whereabouts !

Well, I apologize...I totally misread this "I'm sure Gary Morse could care less about the Christmas tree lighting, since he has already sailed off to his next project in Barbados."

I apologize

If anyone wants to complain about the Morse family I invite them to come up here to Detroit and see what Kwame Kilpatrick has done to this city...you have no idea how much I appreciate what the Morse family has done in providing a wonderful place for us to all live.

Too many political and off topic replies...thread will be closed.

The simple answer to the simple question of when is the tree lighting for Lake Sumter is November 29th.

No need to make this a political discussion.
