Pup is one of the medicare advantage plans - you would not have regular medicare. AARP/unitedhealthcare is a true suppliment -- you have to choose plans a thru g --

go to medicage.gov to compare all plans

We have had United Healthcare through AARP for two years, plan F, and have been very pleased.

what Pickleball2 said! I don't think anyone on this link can offer that great of information as we don't know what meds you're on...and the list goes on. You better call an insurance office ASAP as your time is short to sign up!!!

I'm very uneducated when it comes to insurance. If one contacts an agent to decide on a Medicare supplement or advantage program, how does the agent get paid for their time? Is the agent working as a broker and getting paid by the different plans, or is the customer paying extra because they are going through an agent?

We have a wonderful reliable agent who comes to the house. He works with many different companies so can help to choose what is best for your situation. We have used him for 3 years now. (Just got a Christmas card from him yesterday).
We do not pay extra for insurance by using him.
PM me and I will give you his phone #.
