Hi
I have a electric par cart and have been frustrated with the special upkeep of the battery system and their costly replacements as well as having a cart that everyone passes. I am considering switching to gas since I think my cart batteries have gone bad over the summer (not in town). That would be their 3rd replacement in 6 years!! Are there problems associated with gas carts that I have to consider that I may have not considered where the gas carts have similar problems. Especially when the gas cart is not used half of the year. Thanks Dave |

Gas carts are more forgiving when being left for months at a time, and battery carts have a significant toll over the same time.
But the change to a gas cart from electric should take careful planning because the operating of a gas is different than electric. First there is smell, there is noise, they are not as smooth take off as electric. I field all the likes and dislikes from my customers and justify all their reasons for one or the other being correct for them. I personally do not disagree with anybody it really amounts to what you can tolerate as a user. |
