Default Electric versus Gas cart maintainance

Hi

I have a electric par cart and have been frustrated with the special upkeep of the battery system and their costly replacements as well as having a cart that everyone passes. I am considering switching to gas since I think my cart batteries have gone bad over the summer (not in town). That would be their 3rd replacement in 6 years!!

Are there problems associated with gas carts that I have to consider that I may have not considered where the gas carts have similar problems. Especially when the gas cart is not used half of the year.

Thanks
Dave

Default Gas carts

Gas carts are more forgiving when being left for months at a time, and battery carts have a significant toll over the same time.
But the change to a gas cart from electric should take careful planning because the operating of a gas is different than electric.
First there is smell, there is noise, they are not as smooth take off as electric.
I field all the likes and dislikes from my customers and justify all their reasons for one or the other being correct for them. I personally do not disagree with anybody it really amounts to what you can tolerate as a user.
