Default Battery Issues

We have a 2009 Star Cart 4 seater, and our batteries are running down so quickly, we can't make it far at all.
Does anyone know if there is such a thing as Battery Rejuvenation?
Seems like a pretty new cart to have this issue.
Thanks,
Penny and Carlo

I think what you're referring to is battery De-sulfators, where they claim is that the build up of sulfates on the internal lead fins can be reduced, but even if those sulfates fall off they wind up in the bottom of the battery casing, they R still there.

There has been little positive results by those treatments based on all I read.

As far as the '09 batteries on you cart.

R you using the cart year round or is is it laid up for several months at a time.

Do U maintain the correct water levels only adding distilled water.

On average after 4 years you may just be due for a new set.

4 years is generous.....I run with Trojan T-875 batteries and into the 3rd year I can notice a definite decline in power and the need for much more maintenance. Second set of T 875 batteries and I can just squeze 3 years out of them with out having worries.\

Wth 09 batteries.....I would say it is very likely you need new batteries ! Oh and changing only one or 2 batteries that read ow on the hydrometer will not be the answer...save yourself some trouble and just replace them all at once.
