Default Anyone use Coventry Ins. for Prescriptions

Looking into prescription coverage supplement once on Medicare, has anyone had good luck with this insurance co. If not which ones have you had a good experience with, this is just for prescription coverage. Thanks for any advice.

I have used AARP/UnitedHealthcare since Part D came out. Meds come from OptumRX very quickly. My elderly Aunt came to live with us and she had Coventry/First Health with meds coming from Medco then Express Scripts--took almost 10 business days for meds to arrive. Switched her over to AARP this year.

1/13/13 No, this is not an Advantage plan.

Is this AARP/United Healthcare an advantage plan, where medical and prescription coverage are bundled together? Or is the prescrip coverage separate?

We have Coventry separately from a non-advantage health plan (Mutual of Omaha) because we live two different places during the year. I have been getting 90-day prescriptions from Coventry/Medco, but not mail-order; pick them up at Walgreens. So I can't address the wait time.

Hi - the Florida SHINE program may be a good resource for you. I work for the SHINE program in NH currently. Using Medicare.gov: the official U.S. government site for Medicare they can assist you in doing comparisons based on your medications, and help you look at customer ratings, etc. Check the locations link - looks like they have counseling sites at The Villages.
