Default LSV 3-24 to 3-30-13

The bride and I are headed down to tire kick. The question is. Will the villages be at their peak as far as population? We are hoping to experience the busy season to get a feel for the villages at their busiest. Hope all the snowbirds are still there.

Oh you lucky ducks. Be sure and post back and give us your impressions. We all love to hear what new people think of this amazing place.

Enjoy everything and be sure to sit back, relax and have something tall and cool to drink.

Oh, and Welcome home.

Fred we'll be there for a LSV essentially the same time. (We get there a couple days ahead of you.) We made our first visit for a month with a house rental last summer, and like you want to see just how busy it is in season. You didn't mention if you'd been here before.

Best of luck to you. Perhaps we'll run into each other. I believe all the LSV rentals are all together next to Lake Sumter if I'm not mistaken.

It is really really busy and crowded here and I do not know if there is any more room for more residents. I guess that you are too late to buy a house here, so try southern California. (I am only kidding, certain times of the day the roads are a bit congested....that's about all.) and the supermarkets run out of their weekly specials.

We love the activity in the winter months at The Villages. We visted many retirement resorts prior to selecting The Villages and found them to be quiet and not active enough.
If you have to wait for a tee time, in a restuarant line or it takes 10 more minutes to get there...it is definitely worth it.

Default Thanks for the feedback

The better half and I shot over a few years ago for a day visit and it was to rule out the villages or peek our interest. We loved it. Hence the lifestyle visit.
