Default New videos of model homes

Hi everyone. When we were trying to decide which model to build, we regularly looked at the video of the models on The Villages web site.....the video that gave you a tour of each model including elevation choices. Now that most of the models on Journey Lane, Kent and Duke are sold, (the models the videos were taken from) I wonder when they will change the videos? It looks to me like they same models are still available on line to look at even though they are sold. I know those homes on video were very helpful to me when deciding on a model, so I expect they will re-video the new designers, premieres, villas, etc and put them up for all to view. I'm sure it would be helpful to others who are exploring their options for homes. It's also fun to see how they have decorated them.

I noticed yesterday that there are new model tours on the website. Not for all models, but some.

Wouldn't the old videos which show, say an Aspen, still show an Aspen. Help me understand why new videos of the same model, although a different home, not help you decide which one to buy.

The old model homes are well over two years old. Lots of items are not available any longer. When we designed, my wife checked out all the tours looking for the items she liked. It was helpful get us through some stuff much quicker. Also some models have subtle changes in the layout that the old tours do not show.

I would think if one looked at a model on line that they may also want to see it in person. Sometimes it's the decor that helps sell the home. When you are shown a different one than what you see on line that may change things. Also, the villages always seem to stay on top of things so I would think they would want to stay on top of their model homes. After all, the models are what sell the homes to people. Just my take.....

One of the videos of a model (can't recall which one) shows the decor in some rooms, but then others are obviously a typical model home set up by builders for design choices.
And, I also noticed that some subtle changes were made in many of the homes. I wondered if people who fell in love with the former samples go to design and request what they saw before rather than what's featured now.

Hi all. I just went back on the model home site on my computer and I do see that there are newly decorated homes. So, they have posted new videos of model homes for our enjoyment!

Thanks for info...we are down again just for a week ...trying to do some decorating and furnishing. We drove by those old models yesterday to see if they were occupied because there were a few ideas we wanted to see again. Now we need to get our salesman to take us through the "new" models...where are they located? Anyone have a street address? Thanks

Ask your sales person to take you through the new models. If they are free, they would probably be happy to assist you.
