Default another design question- kitchen cabinets

Hello it is me again... my next design question is about kitchen cabinets. I think they offer as standard the 30 inch top cabinets. Do they offer 42 inch top cabinets as an upgrade option? If they do- is it an expensive upgrade?

I do not remember seeing the taller top cabinets in any of the models we visited.

Thanks for any insight or advice.

The option for 42 inch cabinets may be dependent on the slope of the kitchen ceiling. We could not install them in our Lantana for that reason.

Due to a bump-out we asked for our Ivy did not have the slope so we upgraded to the 42" cabinets. Also due to the bump-out we have a couple of extra cabinets beyond what is standard. The cabinet upgrade was about $1400 dollars. This is kitchen only as the ceiling drops down in the laundry room. Hope that helps!

Yes, as stated above you can upgrade, however only in certain models. I stretched a lot on my Lantana, as did Batman, and could not change the slope in the kitchen. So I have the standard. But because I stretched that side, I ended up with lots of extra cabinet space anyways. Not sure if or where you may have made changes, but definitely ask for them at your design meeting. In my opinion, worth the cost if you need the storage!!
