Default maintenance work at midnight!

I'd like to know why The Villages allows maintenance work at midnight in residential areas. Last week there was an extremely loud generator at 11:45pm for a power sprayer right behind our villa. This week there was a jackhammer going at 11:45-12:30am behind us. This is insane! I know they need to work at downtimes, but midnight?!!? PLEASE STOP!

Welcome to the forum. Hope you enjoy it and have lots of fun things to share.

You do realize that this is a privately owned forum and is not connected with The Villages or the developer?

I have been here a long time and this hasn't happened to me.

It was originally owned by three individuals;.Jan, Darryl and Tony who sold it to a man called Kenneth more than a year ago.

None of them are affiliated with the developer or The Villages in any way and Kenneth does not live here..

It is a wonderful help to all of us and hopefully a money maker for them.

kat, a good place to start would be with District Property Management. Here's the link to their page on Village Community Development Districts :

VCDD District Property Management

They should be able to help answer your questions and address your concerns. If not them, they can undoubtedly point you to the proper party.

And welcome to TOTV!!

if it was The Villages, then it's the VCDD and they will advise.
It could have been private contractors, in which case, talk to your neighbor

I'm in the Vista Sonoma Villas. We back up to the parking lot behind Toojays in Spanish Springs.
