Default Potential Historic Blizzard looms

We are due to get 1 1/2 to 2 feet of snow where I am and possibly 3 feet in the New England states.

National and Local Weather Forecast, Hurricane, Radar and Report

See what fun you TV'ers are missing.

Gotta go now, as I need to get to the supermarket.

Been watching. Our dear friends and close neighbors just left for Dover, New Hampshire this morning.

I hope that they can dig out to return back to Lower Paradise.

Not something I will miss dealing with. Interesting this storm coincides with the 35yr anniversary of the Blizzard of '78. Something like 3' of snow in CT back then and I spent 3 days at the firehouse. Schools, businesses and roads all shut down. Best wishes to all the emergency service providers as I know all too well what they will have to deal with. Stay safe!

Good luck to you with the storm! I'm sitting in Michigan hoping that my flight to "the bubble" tomorrow will make it out!

I also survived the 'Blizzard of '78' 35 years ago when the Boston area got over two feet of snow along with hurricane force winds. The greater Boston area was totally shut down for a week, including the airport and all major roads. My advice to Joe; get on the next plane out of there.

Survived the Blizzard of '78 in Ohio.. we moved to Florida the next month !!! ( it was planned) I always said the Blizzard was our going away gift from the Northern Weather Gods. Good luck to all in this storms path.. She sounds like she will be a doozy.
