Just wondering if anyone has been following Jodi Arias on the stand giving her testimony to the jury, while being questioned by her defense attorney???
Can't wait for the prosecutor to begin questioning her. Not sure if that will be after the "expert" on domestic abuse take the stand........or prior to ??? I do know the details on how she changed her "story" three times, however, she is a compelling and very vocal speaker with an excellent vocabulary, considering her background. Even the legal anchors said they were drawn in to her story. I'm amazed how she can remember every little thing, including what she drank or had for lunch. This is why most think she is fabricating as she goes along. However, it is a compelling tale she spins.........personally, I think she will get life in prison without parole. Even if it was self defense, and I do have an open mind as I wasn't there............it was a bit of over kill, even as the Arizona law states. Unless she just flipped out and went nuts. Up until that day she seemed to hold a steady job (or two jobs) and did try to better herself. Did convert to his religion against the better advice of her family and friends.......... She does remind me a bit of Casey Anthony...........not totally, but a bit. Had she not finally confessed..........I doubt if the photos or bloody handprint could have sealed her fate........as the "ninja's" or intruders might have given her a date rape drug (at which time she would have lost her memory) and planted her hand print on the shower wall..........too bad she didn't follow Casey and NOT confess. It will be interesting to see how the defense team handles the photos from the camera...........and the actual moment of the attack by her on Travis. I've always liked mysteries. Hope we do not lose our power today. I want to see the trial. Judge had closed door session yesterday (I think re the letter in the Valentine gift box???) From Travis. So far, no wind and no snow in Vermont, but we are supposed to get the heaviest snowfall overnight. No big deal. This is how winters always were back when we were raising our family. Lately winters have been mild. Predictions are for up to two to three feet depending if one is in the valley or in the higher elevations. But it will not be the blizzard conditions such as our friends on the coast of New England will be suffering through. So.........stay warm. We have two cords of wood if our power does go out. Lots of batteries , candles, lanterns, etc. Camp stoves to cook on. Good day for Gracie's version of the Senate Bean Soup.......for sure. |

I haven't been following the trial but from a couple of articles I read, Iy believe she is guilty. I don't see how it could be self defense when he was shot in the shower.
Stay warm and safe as the storm is going to be a doozie but nothing we can't handle. ![]()

Not just Lean Cousines. Splurge while you are in the frozen world of a Dr. Zhivago scene. She's guilty as she confessed to killing him. I don't believe in killing for any reason. Again, it was overkill as far as self defense. Who needs to stab someone 28 or 29 times, slash his throat from ear to ear (some say partially or almost decapitating his neck) and also shooting him over the eye in his forehead? However, based on her sad story, I do not think the jury will give her lethal injection. |

This trial is incredible. A self-confessed murderess may well walk free.
