Default Just bought in Duval

After five years of renting, finally took the plunge and brought a courtyard villa in Duvall. We have been renting in Calumet Grove so this is quite a geographic switch, but we are excited.
I follow TOTV quite a bit and everyone seems to have good things to say about their particular village, haven't seen a lot of posts from Duvall residents or maybe I am not looking in the right place. Like to hear from you about what you like about living there. The Seabreeze Rec center seems very nice, and Colony Plaza is conveniently close. Any other things we should know?

Hubby and I are seasonal residents in Duval. As you have already mentioned, Seabreeze is a stones throw away and Colony Plaza is close enough. Duval is pretty much centrally located in this massively growing community. Brownwood is about as far a drive as Spanish Springs and LSL is our closest square. We are also conveniently located to the bus depot which is at LSL. Major shopping on 466 and 441/27 is closer to the neighborhoods north of Duval but still much closer than those located south of 466A.

Congratulations on your purchase and may you have many great times in your new home.

Great location. We have rented in Virginia Trace, Sabal Chase. Amelia, and Sunset Pointe. This fall we rented in Duval - thought the location was very convenient to a lot of things. Enjoy!

We recently purchased in Duval. We are part time residents - not retired yet.

We will be in TV in April and looking forward to meeting other Duval residents.

I'm jealous...that seems like a great location. If I were ready to buy, I'd look there.

Congratulations on your new home. You will like your location in Duval. We have a little less than 3 years before we are full timers. I hope you two enjoy all the villages has to offer.

Duval has a social club with many planned events and if you live on the north east side of Duval there is also a FANNED (friends and neighbors of north east duval) have events as well. Just talk with your new neightbors and I'm sure they will connect you with neighborhood gatherings.
