Default Insurance and Meteor Damage

Going to be checking in on Monday but Has anybody checked if damage like Those buildings sustained in Russia is covered by Homeowners policy. Sonic Boom blew out windows.

Speaking only about policies issued in America Property Insurance policies do cover falling objects so if any of that meteor hit an insured property it would be covered. However damage caused by other than falling may also be covered because property insurance policies are comprehnsive in construct and hence cover all perils unless it is specifically excluded. In any event the insurer will review the facts leading to the damage and determine whethr it is an insured event based on the insuring agreement, definitions, and exclusions
