Default Lee Child, Jack Reacher books

I just finished the entire Jack Reacher books 1-16. Each book was a page turner. I couldn't wait to see the movie but was a tad bit worried about Tom Cruise playing the lead role. In the books Reacher is discribed as a big guy 6ft 5 and weighing 240lbs of solid muscle. I must say Cruise played the role very well. I so recommend these books.

I have read a few of these. I did not know what I was missing. I enjoyed Tom Cruise, Rosamund Pike, and crusty Robert Duvall in Jack Reacher. Lee Child said it himself that Reacher as he wrote him is an unstoppable force so too is the characterization of him as in the movie as played by 5' 7" or so Tom Cruise. Pike has two inches on him at 5' 9". Suppose he should be glad that the Casting Director did not stick him with Damages Janet McTeer at 6'1". http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0005216/maindetails

I was just given the 'latest' Jack Reacher novel, the one with Tom Cruise on the cover (why ?) So, have decided to keep this one for the flight over to the USA. Looking forward to this one.

Actually, the movie is based on "One Shot", which is the 9th book in the Reacher series.
