Ought to be national. But then again parents used to actually parent and there was little need for a curfew. Parents enforced that on their own.

the punishing of the masses for the sake of the few....which I do not support. It is nothing more than a cop out.
That being said, the issue will be enforcement. It will like too many other rules/regulations/laws be impossible to enforce. As a result life will go on as it has with another lawmakers feel good legislation that accomplishes nothing more than the bragging rites that they have passed a law. How about a pro-active program "TARGETING" the violators/the bad guys? Yes I do mean seeking them out and taking them in. Or how about an original....enforce...that would be ENFORCE the existing laws on the books? A general curfew is as I said a cop out resulting in the majority losing another one. btk |

A curfew is like marshal law and I'm against it. Let the parents do the policing of their own children.

Parents are either too busy, too lazy, or gone.

That's dandy in theory, and it used to work. Unfortunately today far too many parents refuse to parent & disipline their children for whatever reasons. My kids were always required to be in at a certain time, and we needed to know where they were, so that policy wouldn't involve our children. But since too many parents won't do their job, then there needs to be consequences for those who won't. I love the idea.
