I loved watching that show that included Valerie Bertinelli, Michelle Phillips and Pat Harington.

RIP - Bonnie

Her last big venture was playing a loving nun on Young and The Restless months ago. She had pancreatic cancer then. She seemed weak at times but gave a performance of a lifetime.

God Bless her. Fly high Bonnie, fly high!!

She also was a Tony Award nominee and sang the title song in the show "Applause" on Broadway. We loved One Day at a Time. Such a shame that she never had another strong vehicle to show her talents.

As any performer knows, "You've had a taste of, the sound that says Love! Applause, Applause, Applause!" RIP, Bonnie.

I know lots of people did like "One Day at a Time" but I never cared for it. I always thought the Bonnie Franklin character was too pushy - and not because she was a divorced mother raising two teens. I felt, also, her character was too permissive of the teens. As I said, millions of viewers loved the show. I liked Gunsmoke!

Anyhow, sorry to see her depart this life. 69 is too young to go.
