Default Happy Thoughts Looking Back

I was thinking and wondering about how when I was younger that some programs that I considerd square is the programs that I fondly look back at and say, they were very good programs. Did you have a program that you were made to watch and didn't like it and now if it comes on television, you look forward to watching? For me, it was the Lawrence Welk show.

Is is because we become more relaxed in our point of views? Is it a sign that we are getting older and have developed a sense of perspective about what is really good? Is is a sign that we cling to our younger days and remember fondly those times?

OK, I'll let you have your coffee before you ponder this thoughts.

I love the old movies on TCM, and still watch I Love Lucy and The Honeymooners. Never got into the 90's shows, but started watching reruns of" Everyone Loves Raymond". Omg....I absolutely love it.

I particularly enjoy the older movies because they are not just a special effects contest, or full of foul language and sex and murder and sex and mayhem and sex and other gutter morals.

They were more real when all the superfolous low grade moral content of today was not needed to entertain.
