The world seems to be getting on OK without a Pope Hmmm. Just sayin'

like any other large organization or country, it is not impossible to run/operate without a titular head.

The conclave has not met in session yet so there is no news.

And there is and acting/responsible entity in place of the pope for now and however long it takes.

I have heard folks say that the new pope would be chosen by the feast of St. Joseph, which is March 19.

I don't know how I feel about the talk that some European cardinals were dismayed by the American bunch telling the press about some of the discussion and events. Not against the rules but not done previously.

We like openness here in U.S. but still....I dunno.

Doubt I will ever see an American Pope. But I really like Timothy Doyle? Is his name Doyle from New York?

It's actually Timothy Dolan, he grew up in Ballwin Missouri and went to the same parish and parish school as my wife and I. We are hoping he gets the nod.

If the past pope retires to TV, will his Pope Mobile fit on the golf cart trails or will he be strictly a street legal vehicle? Since he is not pope anymore will he mode of transportation Still be called a pope mobile?

and if he hits a gate will he stop and give his info or will we see him on some of the gate video with the authorities wanting to know if anyone knows who he is so they can ticket him
