Accountable Care Organization. I received a letter Saturday stating that my physician is participating in an ACO.

According to the letter the goal of the ACO is for your doctors to communicate closely with your other health care providers to deliver high-quality care and meet your unique individual needs and preferences.

Sounds similair to what the Villages Health System is trying to do. Does it change your coverage, costs, or just the type of care?
