Default Hacienda Hills Country Club

A few years ago we gave up on going there because the food and service was so bad but this Saturday we thought we would try again. We had no problem getting twenty golfers seated as we came off of the golf course. We all ordered breakfast and we were all pleasantly surprised. Everyone was very happy with their meal and the service. So for all of you that have stayed away, give them another chance. The new owner came and talked to us and they are really trying.

Hacienda Hills CC is a great place to dine. Their Sunday brunch is $11.95 and is all you can eat of wonderful food from pancakes and omelettes to eggs benedict to carved meats (great beef).

The Friday night fish is excellent. Chef Brian really can prepare the fresh fish pefectly.

Service is good, music is at a comfortable listening level, and the place is usually pretty full.

I recommend Hacienda Hills CC.

I agree, their Sunday Brunch is the best in The Villages.

I'm excited that there might be another place to dance on Saturday night. Can you give me more info about this band like what kind of music/dancing? What time do they come on? Do you need to get there earlier to get a decent seat for when the band comes on? Any info would be helpful.

If you are looking for a great dance band go to Tierra del Sol this Saturday night. I saw Vinyl Recall there two weeks ago and had a great time. Best dance band I have seen here in the Villages. Think they start this Saturday about 5:30.

We ate there last night and had a great dinner- We went there because we heard about a situation that a man who had a backpack with a Cross on it had it sitting on the chair as he was enjoying dinner. A women who was a regular asked the man to remove the cross because it was offensive· The man politely said no he would not move it so she went to the manager and told him he would lose a very good customer if he didn't make the man remove the backpack with the cross. The owner/manager told her he would not ask the man to remove the backpack with the cross. We were happy to see so many people supporting the owner.

Good for the manager. We'll go there too. Where do some people come off, anyway?

Huh?? What am I missing? He had a cross? Are you talking a religious cross? Why would anyone be offended?

Norman Lee had given a sermon that day and wore a back pack with a Cross on it the whole time to signify what Christ went though. One of his parishioner thought he would do the same and wear it all day, stopped to have dinner when the incident happened. I asked the manager if this really happened and he said YES, I'm the owner and it was me that told her no! Next someone will tell us that the cross some people wear around there neck is offensive and we need to take it off!

Hubby and I took a couple out to Hacienda Hills CC last Thursday evening for dinner. Had pleasant service, the food was good, not special. We'll probably go back again as it was an overall good experience

Based on comments on this thread, my wife and I went to Hacienda Hills for the fish and chips tonight. It was excellent. Fish was lightly battered and fried just perfect. It was probably the best fried fish I have found in The Villages.

Give them a try. Really, really good.

I totally agree, the fish is great. I have had other dishes and just as pleased with them. Also, I think the Hacienda is a beautiful CC.
