Default left turn from cart lane

In today's POA paper it explains clearly that turning left from the golf cart lane, crossing over the car lane is a NO NO. This article is from the Sheriffs office. You must merge into the car lane before getting to the intersection in which you intend to turn left onto (when Clear and Safe) prior to making the left hand turn. Never cross over both the cart and car lane in one motion.

One added thing ,use your hand signal and your directional. I have witnessed golf carts using no hand or directionals when coming out of a golf cart lane.

I have always merged from the diamond lane onto the right hand driving lane with both a mechanical and hand signal. Further I merge before the diamond lane ends normally marked with a number of diagonal white lines. I do so because many auto drivers have this nasty habit of speeding up to get ahead of you. Now catching these nasty drivers cutting you off by a sheriff is a good use of sheriffs times

I agree Rubicon. I've had a few instances where cars would try to race ahead me .I've encountered a lot on Morse and Paige Place. I sincerely think the majority of these type drivers are not other TV residents.
